Insurance Americas Application Solution Center is part of the AXA XL Global Technology responsible for Policy Administration, ERM, HR, Marketing and Communication, Workplace, Legal, Compliance Applications portfolio management. The team builds the overall strategy, performs SDLC, maintenance, support, and performance improvements for all applications. AXA XL Intranet serves over 14,000 colleagues and is used globally every day for communication, collaboration, and business processes. AXA XL Internet is our face to the world. It is used to communicate our marketing strategy, promote our strengths and success stories and help our customers find and connect with our underwriters and claims teams. As a Marketing & Communication Business Analyst you will support the ongoing development and maintenance of the AXA XL Intranet and Internet and related applications. Responsibilities
Lead Agile SCRUM ceremonies and delivery of regular enhancements and maintenance to the intranet and Internet using SCRUM. Drive communication across the team. Partner with business owners to document requirements and capture all business needs, functional and non-functional, for new features and functionality. Clearly articulate business needs to the technical team and support the team’s SCRUM process. Proactively identify security and business risks and work with the team to develop mitigation actions. Identify critical interdependencies and perform change impact analysis. Work closely with QA to review acceptance criteria for user stories, test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to ensure changes are tested thoroughly. User support; UAT support, and management of User Review sessions; Release support and ownership. Build and maintain outstanding stakeholder relationships at all levels by effectively communicating project progress, risks and issues. Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns. Qualifications
Experience working as a project or product manager managing web or intranet projects for a large global organization. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a master’s degree in computer science or related field. Ability to understand general business requirements and implement corresponding technical solutions; outstanding technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis. Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile principles. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal); team-oriented. Self-starter with a drive to deliver and adaptability to a changing environment. Attention to detail, technical motivation, creativity, and user orientation with a desire to learn AXA XL’s business and technology environment. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams within Global Technology and with vendors, third-party consultants, shared services, Product Owner, and business users. Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed in critical situations. Experience in SharePoint Online development and maintenance. Familiarity with analyst methods such as use cases, business rule development, user interface specs, and functional specs. Strong stakeholder management and the ability to communicate the impacts of system functionality on performance, scalability, and maintainability. Ability to manage ambiguity and create accurate project estimates; quantify project risks throughout the lifecycle. Proven planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and set realistic timelines.
