Position Highlights

This role supports the daily performance, maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of referrals workflows and ensures efficient data flow between departments and external systems. Responsibilities

Serve as the primary analyst for Epic Referrals

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve support tickets related to referral workflows and system performance.

Configure and optimize Epic functionality to support efficient, compliant referral processes. Perform structured testing and validation for system changes, upgrades, and enhancement requests.

Partner with IT, Clinical Operations, and Revenue Cycle teams to align workflows and build long-term solutions.

Maintain clear, accurate documentation for build specs, user requirements, and training resources.

Monitor data accuracy, routing behavior, and system integration across sending and receiving entities.

Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts related to Epic referral workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.

Referrals and Authorization Certification Required, Prelude and Cadence Epic modules preferred

Minimum of 2–3 years of Epic Referrals build experience required; Prelude, Real Time Eligibility, Cadence preferred.

Excellent attention to detail and documentation habits.

Ability to work independently while following defined processes and deadlines.

Experience in a healthcare system or ambulatory care environment a plus.

Familiarity with clinical and referral workflows preferred.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $85K-$128K, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
