Our brand-new Embarcadero Center hotel offers modern rooms and suites with spectacular balcony views. As Assistant Director of Operations, you will support the Director of Operations in overseeing multiple departments—Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage—to ensure an exceptional guest experience, efficient operations, and alignment with the hotel’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing daily hotel operations to ensure a consistent, high‑quality guest experience.

Partner with department heads to ensure efficient staffing, training, scheduling, and performance management.

Drive operational excellence by analyzing performance data and implementing process improvements.

Ensure all departments comply with company standards, brand expectations, and regulatory requirements.

Support the Director of Operations in developing and executing strategies to meet or exceed service, revenue, and profitability goals.

Handle guest concerns and operational issues with a proactive, solution‑oriented approach.

Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cost‑control measures.

Lead by example, fostering a positive and professional work culture aligned with company values.

Assist in preparing for and leading daily stand‑up meetings and operations reviews.

Support recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts across operational departments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

Minimum 3–5 years of hotel operations experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role within Rooms and Food & Beverage divisions.

Strong knowledge of front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage operations.

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and solve problems efficiently.

Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Compensation: $106,800–$136,200 annually.
