The Johns Hopkins Cardiology RN schedule is 20-hours/week, and is working in-person and remotely. The role entails daily review of physician EPIC-in-baskets and triaging appropriately. Additionally, pends new medications and prescription refills in Epic for provider signature. Assists with ordering patient lab and study tests as needed and routing orders in EPIC to providers for their co-signature. Provides patient follow-up on lab and study test results in collaboration with the patient and physician. Returns patient phone calls and questions. Needs the flexibility to potentially provide clinic support, research support, and case management services to patient from initial intake visit through termination of services. This is a new part-time position that will be evolving with the service, so flexibility in meeting provider and patient needs in person as needed is a must.

Shift Hybrid - 20 hours/week some on-campus some remote
Requirements
At least 1-year recent cardiac nursing experience peds and adults preferred
Baccalaureate degree, in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing, preferred and Applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered. per nursing guidelines, must matriculate to Bachelors of Nursing program.
Active BLS via AHA, American Red Cross or Military Training Network at time of hire
Active Maryland RN or Compact License at time of hire

Salary Range: Minimum 38.49/hour - Maximum 59.66/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
