The Role: Senior Vice President, Artificial Intelligence The company is appointing a
Senior Vice President of AI
to direct global strategy, research execution, and cross-functional AI programs. The SVP will unify teams working in
model architecture, data engineering, compute optimization, and product integration , ensuring that breakthroughs in research translate into commercial and industrial outcomes.
This position carries full executive responsibility for AI development and strategic alignment. The SVP will report to the Chief Executive Officer and lead a distributed team of scientists, engineers, and program directors responsible for both frontier research and applied enterprise systems.
Strategic Focus 1. Research and Model Development
Guide the design of new model architectures focused on multimodality, reasoning, and memory efficiency.
Direct benchmark initiatives in model interpretability, low-latency inference, and agentic orchestration.
Maintain alignment between applied research and the company’s long-term AI roadmap.
2. Infrastructure and Compute Efficiency
Collaborate with infrastructure leaders to optimize large-scale model training through data pipeline design, distributed compute planning, and hardware utilization metrics.
Establish frameworks that balance performance, cost, and environmental sustainability.
3. Product and Application Integration
Oversee the deployment of AI systems into enterprise and government solutions across cybersecurity, automation, and analytics.
Build cross-functional collaboration between AI research and product delivery teams to ensure reliability and scalability.
4. Talent and Global Collaboration
Develop an international research network connecting academic partnerships, internal labs, and external research alliances.
Recruit and mentor high-impact scientists and engineers specializing in large-scale AI systems.
5. Governance and Standards
Define principles for responsible AI development, focusing on transparency, bias mitigation, and interpretability.
Engage with policy and standards organizations to advance global AI governance frameworks.
Candidate Profile
Advanced degree (PhD or equivalent) in
computer science, applied mathematics, or machine learning research .
Proven record of leadership in large-scale AI research or applied systems development.
Deep expertise in
transformer architectures, distributed training optimization, and model evaluation pipelines .
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in both scientific and commercial environments.
Strategic capacity to connect long-horizon research goals with operational performance and measurable impact.
