Engineers at iRhythm work passionately to deliver innovative solutions that improve the quality of healthcare and the patient experience. In this role you will contribute directly to near and long-term commercialization efforts for our next-generation wearable bio-sensors, collaborating alongside a small team of multi-disciplinary engineers experienced in bringing medical devices to market.You will gain exposure to the testing approach required to release Class 2 compliant hardware in the medical device industry. Your tasks will be to test, analyze, design, evaluate and debug circuits to support exciting additions to our product line. This is a fantastic opportunity to get hands on experience with a cutting-edge product within the medical device space.Day to day responsibilities:* Automating test equipment.* Write test plans and reports for FDA submissions.* Create schematics and design PCBs to assist in testing of company products.* Lab bring-up of products and test tools.* Cross-functional collaboration within EE team and greater Product Development (MechE, F/W, System engineering).Requirements:* Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or related field).* 1-3 years of industry experience in developing test systems.* Excellent EE fundamentals.* Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits.* Hands-on lab experience including soldering, data acquisition, lab test equipment: multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.* Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up, debugging and functional verification.* Familiarity with schematic and layout tools (Altium a bonus) as well as circuit analysis and simulation tools (SPICE).* Detail-oriented with excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.* Experience with a scripting language for analyzing and plotting data (Python a plus).* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Comfortable working with minimal supervision.## Work Arrangement:This is a hybrid position with a requirement for 50% presence in our San Francisco, CA office + lab.
