The Clinical Technician – Medical Oncology

plays a vital role on our care team and works as a

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

with advanced clinical competencies. In this dynamic position, you will support our

provider clinic, onsite lab, and busy infusion center , helping ensure seamless, compassionate care for our oncology patients.

This role requires strong

phlebotomy

and

IV insertion

skills, as you will regularly draw labs, start IVs, and prepare patients for treatment. You will also room patients, obtain vitals, conduct medication and history reviews, perform EKGs, assist with room turnover, and provide direct support to both providers and nursing staff.

Your expertise in venipuncture and IV access will be essential to delivering a smooth and efficient patient experience—especially for those receiving chemotherapy or other infusion therapies.

Minimum Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED

Current

CNA certification in the District of Columbia

American Heart Association BLS/CPR

certification required

Salary Range:

Minimum 20.33/hour - Maximum 31.36/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
