Interventional Cardiologist – Orion Medical (Southeast Houston, TX)
US Heart and Vascular is adding to its team at Orion Medical in Southeast Houston, TX and is seeking a full‑time Interventional Cardiologist to join our practice.
Orion Medical is a premier cardiology practice led by a skilled team of 7 board‑certified physicians and 1 APP, with a mission to provide state‑of‑the‑art care in a family‑friendly atmosphere. With offices in Friendswood, Pasadena, and two convenient sites in Houston, the practice has served Southeast Houston, Texas, and the surrounding suburban communities since 2012.
Orion Medical is the only practice in Texas that has 5 IAC accreditations (Echo, Vascular, Nuclear, PET and Veins). Our team specializes in comprehensive cardiovascular care, sleep medicine, and venous disease of the legs.
Job Responsibilities
Clinic hours: Monday‑Friday
Collaborate with 4 interventionalists and 2 non‑invasive cardiologists
4 clinic locations
4 hospital affiliations
Call rotation: usually one weekend per month
Excellent benefits package including competitive compensation, partnership potential, malpractice protection, and CME allowance
Qualifications
Board Eligible or Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist (BE or BC)
Open to 2024 graduates and early‑career interventionalists
Location South / Southeast Houston neighborhoods are minutes away from key Houston employment and business centers, including the Texas Medical Center, downtown Houston, Greenway Plaza, and the Galleria. The Texas Medical Center is the largest medical complex in the world with over 100,000 employees, and the surrounding communities offer top‑rated schools and a high quality of life.
