What You’ll Do (and Love!) As our
Hospital Veterinarian Medical Leader , you’ll guide the medical team, champion clinical excellence, and help create a warm, welcoming experience for pets and pet parents alike.
Leadership That Makes a Difference
Mentor, motivate, and support a team of veterinarians who are just as pet‑obsessed as you are
Partner closely with the Hospital Office Manager for smooth, collaborative leadership
Help onboard and develop veterinarians, nurturing growth and confidence
Ensure medical standards, safety protocols, and compliance are always in top form
Review hospital performance and help shape future success—both medical and operational
Address client concerns with empathy, clarity, and a genuine love for the pets we serve
Hands‑On, Heart‑Forward Medical Care
Perform full physical exams, diagnose, treat, and design preventive care for pets of all shapes and sizes
Build thoughtful, problem‑based medical plans
Keep detailed, accurate medical records (no detail is too small for the pets we love!)
Perform surgeries from routine to more advanced
Provide dental care, evaluations, and extractions
Manage hospitalized patients and coordinate seamless care transitions
Teamwork & Community
Participate in shift rounds
Share your knowledge to help grow the entire team’s skill set
Maintain hospital permits, vendor relationships, and compliance standards
Qualifications We’re Excited About
DVM (or equivalent) from an AVMA‑accredited institution
Active state veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
1‑3+ years of clinical experience; leadership is a major plus
DEA & Controlled Substance License (or ability to obtain)USDA Category I Accreditation (or willingness to complete)
Strong communication skills and a warm, approachable personality
A genuine passion for pets, people, teamwork, and delivering exceptional care
