OB Hospitalist - Locums Location: Prestonsburg, KentuckySetting: Hospital-based OB Hospitalist + ClinicCoverage: Clinic, Call, and On-Call Required Quick-Screen Requirements Schedule: Mix of clinic, call, and on-callNICU Level: II Clinical Scope & Responsibilities

Deliveries: Approx. 200 per year (unassigned + private patients)
Coverage Model:
1 OB covering all unassigned patients
Employed OBs available for backup during multiple emergencies

OBED / Triage: Triage model (no OBED planned)

Anesthesia: Daily onsite + 24/7 call

MFM: Remote outpatient availability via University of Kentucky Outpatient / Clinic

Will see new and routine OB/GYN patients in an outpatient clinic setting

Inpatient Responsibilities

L&D management
GYN surgery
Consults
Unassigned patient coverage

Additional Notes

Internal Medicine residency program rotates through OBED/L&D
OB will not back up midwives or FP physicians
