ABOUT THIS ROLE
Xe is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to help evolve our world-class money transfer platform, with a strong focus on both corporate and consumer customers. You’ll report to the Director of Software Engineering and work across backend and full-stack systems, modern cloud infrastructure, and emerging AI developer tools.
While full-stack experience is important, this role places particular emphasis on front-end design excellence and close collaboration with our Denver-based design and product teams. You’ll be the voice of technology in the Denver office, helping shape product direction through technical insight, rapid prototyping, and proof-of-concept development. The majority of our tech team is based in Europe and the Americas, so this role also serves as a key bridge between regional teams.
Our current stack includes C# .NET, Vue.js, AWS, GitHub CI/CD, and modern testing frameworks. We encourage engineers to propose new technologies that improve performance, scalability, or developer experience — especially those with potential for adoption across our global tech function. If you enjoy solving complex problems, driving technical discussions, and leveraging AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery and foster knowledge sharing, this is your kind of role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient software systems.
- Contribute to technical direction, system architecture, and platform evolution as a collaborative team member.
- Work closely with designers and product managers in Denver to deliver elegant, user-focused solutions.
- Drive rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept development to validate ideas and accelerate decision-making.
- Use AI tools to speed up delivery, improve code quality, and support knowledge sharing across the team.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Review code, mentor teammates, and promote engineering excellence.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and assess their potential for adoption across the tech organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack engineering
- Strong front-end development skills and experience working with design teams
- Proven track record in building RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in C# .NET is required.
- Experience with Vue.js is essential.
- Strong understanding of AWS, including serverless architecture.
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
- Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies, including AI-powered developer tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
Bonus Points
- Experience with AI-assisted development environments or tools that enhance engineering speed, collaboration, and code quality.

- Experience in fintech or payment systems.
