Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy generative AI solutions to address internal operational challenges, such as automating routine workflows, summarizing data, and generating intelligent recommendations, while balancing speed, function, and long‑term scalability.
  • Build AI agents and automations with Agentforce (skills, actions, orchestration/guardrails) embedded in Sales/Service/CPQ workflows.
  • Implement Einstein Copilot/Studio solutions (prompt flows, tools, actions) grounded in Data Cloud for retrieval and personalization.
  • Create and secure APIs (REST/SOAP, Platform Events, Pub/Sub) to integrate CPQ, CLM, provisioning, licensing, finance/ERP, and other systems.
  • Collaborate across teams to flatten data silos and streamline data access, including ETL pipelines and automated workflows.
  • Build RAG–style patterns on Salesforce: index relevant objects/data in Data Cloud, implement grounding, safety, and evaluation loops.
  • Serve as the technical lead for strategic planning, development, and integration of AI solutions across business operations.
  • Partner with business leaders, both technical and non‑technical, to understand requirements and translate them into AI‑powered solutions.
  • Harden solutions for security/compliance (data residency, PII handling, row‑level access, audit, consent).
  • Contribute to CI/CD (SFDX, scratch orgs, Git branching), code reviews, and release management.
  • Rapidly prototype generative AI applications.
  • Full‑stack development from proof‑of‑concept to front‑end UI.
  • Evaluate, measure, and improve performance on a continuous basis.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize new use cases for development and obtain feedback on existing solutions.
  • Fine‑tune language models and other AI capabilities to address organization‑specific needs for custom use cases.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and education to teams on leveraging AI solutions to improve operational effectiveness, fostering adoption and comfort with new technologies.
  • Work with data scientists and business stakeholders to rigorously evaluate various strategies of optimizing prompts.
  • Stay up to date on industry developments.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of Salesforce engineering; 3+ years of AI/automation at scale; proven delivery in Sales Cloud/Service/CPQ.
  • Proven hands‑on experience with Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, and Salesforce DataCloud.
  • Strong Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL; Visualforce for legacy support; deep knowledge of limits and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in Python for AI service development; ability to read/extend notebooks; build lightweight APIs (FastAPI/Flask); write evaluation scripts; interact with LLM endpoints.
  • API design and integration experience (REST/SOAP, Platform Events, External Services; MuleSoft or equivalent a plus).
  • Practical AI engineering experience: prompt design, tool calling, grounding/RAG, evaluation, guardrails, observability.
  • Data design across Salesforce and Data Cloud (identity resolution, data sharing, segment activation).
  • CI/CD with SFDX and modern tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Excellent collaboration with architects, admins, and business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud computing.
  • Experience with process mapping, workflow design, and identifying operational inefficiencies.
  • Experience in change management to drive adoption and integration of AI solutions across the organization.
  • Problem‑solving, consultative mindset with the ability to translate business challenges into AI‑powered solutions.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and non‑technical audiences, and executive audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of business operations.
  • Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting ability.
  • Strong analytical ability for solving operational problems.

Pay Range

$154,300–216,000

Remote Work and Travel
