We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect with expertise in Ping Identity, OIDC (OpenID Connect), and authentication technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing federated identity solutions in large-scale environments and will provide technical leadership for application architecture, integration, and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and contribute to the technical approach for application design and architecture.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to guide functional and technical design reviews.
  • Create and maintain architecture documents, standards, policies, and presentations.
  • Review business requirements and propose best-practice solutions prior to design.
  • Provide technical input during meetings and elevate issues to minimize project risks.
  • Ensure compliance with security, audit, and privacy standards across identity solutions.
  • Review source code changes and unit test cases for high-risk projects.
  • Consult on application architecture and infrastructure services related to identity management.
  • Apply appropriate technologies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Mentor and empower team members, fostering growth and independence.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 12+ years of IT industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong expertise in Ping Identity, OIDC (OpenID Connect), and authentication protocols.
  • 10+ years of architectural and design experience.
  • Proven experience implementing federated identity solutions in large-scale environments.
  • Hands-on experience integrating identity platforms with modern and legacy applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of airline domain (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
