Area Manager I, Warehouse at Factor_ (a brand of HelloFresh) – Joliet, IL. This role supports the Joliet, IL team with warehouse operations and leadership responsibilities. Responsibilities
Oversee the strategic operations within the functional areas of receiving, shipping, storage / distribution of goods, and logistics. Direct activities and provide coaching and guidance to associates, leads, and supervisors. Collaborate with the team to ensure maximum productivity and align with company directives. Ensure compliance with safety, GMP and SQF policies/procedures, and adherence to PPE/hygiene policies. Cultivate a culture aligned with HelloFresh core values. Maintain high internal and external customer service; investigate and correct customer issues and complaints. Manage the department engaged in essential warehouse functions to ensure high productivity and technical integrity. Perform internal audits and coordinate objectives with production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs. Create and implement processes and procedures; relay quality philosophy to warehouse personnel. Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement teams. Design, develop and implement warehousing training programs based on quarterly performance reviews. Interact with procurement to ensure adequate supply of inventory and ingredients. Address nonconformities from internal and external audits; conduct management reviews of warehouse functions; follow up and close preventive and corrective action requests. Ensure documentation and design controls are appropriate for the organization.
