Salary: Expected base pay between $275,000 and $275,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long‑term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the execution of M&A transactions and contribute to strategy and transaction structuring recommendations.
Assist on calls with counterparties including corporate or financial sponsor clients to strategize on M&A processes.
Analyze and synthesize financial and operating information about companies and industries.
Build financial and operating models to illustrate projected financial results and conduct valuation analyses.
Develop marketing memoranda and participate in client meetings and presentations.
Work with junior bankers and assist in their training and development.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or as an Associate, or a closely related occupation.
Three (3) years of experience with: valuation analyses; cross‑border transactions; public and private M&A; spin‑off transactions; split‑off transactions; corporate separations; Microsoft Office; Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factiva, and Thomson One; Reverse Morris Trust; SPAC transactions; restructuring; and IPOs.
