How You Will Create An Impact
Underwriting new and renewal Marine business to help drive profitable growth.
Assess risk desirability through broker contact, coordination with AIG subject matter experts, and review of claims history and company data.
Build broker relationships, expand network, and generate new business via broker events.
Provide accurate monthly management information including submissions, bind rate, average premium, and total premium.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Underwriting experience preferred; related professional experience acceptable.
Ability to analyze financial statements.
Strong communication, networking, and relationship‑building skills.
Good organizational and time‑management skills.
Customer and sales‑oriented behaviours: motivated, tenacious, focused, technically skilled, proactive, and accountable.
Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $72,000 – $90,000 for positions in New York City. Eligible for bonus per incentive plan. Comprehensive benefits are offered.
