Base Pay Range $165,000 per year – $230,000 per year.

Job Details We are a mid‑sized accounting firm that uniquely specializes in Public Company Tax and Audit (including international), M&A, Transactional Due Diligence, and forensic accounting. We have a close‑knit growing team with little to no employee turnover.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services for clients.

Develop and execute innovative tax planning and strategies that minimize clients' tax liabilities.

Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns at federal, state, multi‑state, and international levels.

Conduct detailed reviews of income tax provisions per ASC 740.

Provide expert advice on tax implications of business decisions and acquisitions.

Stay updated with current tax practices and changes in tax law.

Build and maintain client relationships and manage potential risks.

Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive tax solutions.

Train, mentor, and supervise junior staff members.

Participate in business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or certification such as CPA, MST, or JD highly preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate and public accounting.

Proven expertise in federal, state, multi‑state, and international tax compliance and planning.

Exceptional knowledge of ASC 740 and experience with tax provision preparation and review.

Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage a team and client engagements.

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in tax software and technology.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
