PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Position Overview
Responsible for the supervision of all direct care staff members, implementing the program’s policies and procedures, and ensuring the physical plant complies with RHY and safety regulations. Reports to the Assistant Program Director.
Specific Responsibilities
Hire and supervise Counselors, Counseling Specialists, and Relief Counselors.
Model and promote dependable, responsible, accountable, and ethical behavior.
Ensure all full‑time staff meets annual training requirements.
Assist with the coordination of educational, vocational, and housing planning and programming for all residents.
Ensure new resident orientations are completed.
Prepare staff schedules to ensure program safety, appropriate delivery of services, and necessary coverage.
Work with the Assistant Program Director to complete timely staff evaluations.
Ensure the Behavior Management System is utilized appropriately.
Ensure household, personal, and food supplies are ordered and in appropriate supply.
Work collaboratively with Case Planners to ensure quality of service.
Participate in weekly Force Field team meetings and conduct monthly staff and resident meetings.
Provide 24‑hour on‑call coverage to program staff via agency cell phone.
Be DYCD Connect trained and proficient.
Respond to all emergencies at the residence.
Perform any other assigned tasks.
Qualifications
High School diploma required.
Two years of managerial experience preferred.
Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
