Base pay range $18.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Job Description We are looking for a Logistics Trainee to join our team. Under the general supervision of the Logistics Manager, this position is responsible for scheduling deliveries, communicating with customers, checking orders, ensuring trucks are properly loaded, and performing other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Schedule deliveries and communicate with drivers and customers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
Prepare a load list with truck loading instructions and delivery sequence for yard personnel.
Coordinate daily pre‑staging of loads and the following day’s schedules, ensuring speedy in‑and‑out times of trucks on subsequent runs.
Check orders for accuracy and completeness, and ensure all materials are loaded correctly.
Assist in conducting cycle counts and physical inventories, and report results accurately.
Maintain purchasing and receiving processes as established by the company.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics or traffic operations preferred but not required.
Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred.
