Chisholm Chisholm & Kilpatrick LTD (CCK) is a mission‑driven Public Interest law firm specializing in Veterans Law, long‑term disability, ERISA, and Bequest Management. CCK is hiring its first Controller to lead the accounting function and support the firm’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the full accounting cycle and monthly/quarterly/year‑end close.
Prepare accurate GAAP financial statements and provide performance insights.
Lead technical accounting areas (revenue recognition, leases, memos).
Serve as primary contact for audits and external reporting.
Strengthen internal controls and maintain accounting policies.
Mentor accounting team members and support collaboration.
Improve processes and optimize accounting systems.
Qualifications
Five+ years in public accounting or public/private mix; professional services a plus.
Strong GAAP knowledge, financial reporting, and internal controls experience.
Advanced Excel + ERP proficiency.
Technical accounting and memo‑writing expertise.
Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
CPA required ; Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting/Finance.
$150K–$200K salary , based on experience.
