Calling all Tax Managers We are a full-service CPA firm located in Meridian, ID, providing tax, accounting and advisory services for a diverse roster of clients. We are currently seeking a Tax Manager with >4 years of recent public accounting tax experience for an important role on our tax leadership team managing tax engagements for small to mid-size, closely held businesses, non-profit organizations, trusts and estates, and individuals. Conduct and manage the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, non-profits, trusts, and estates. Ensure compliance with all GAAP procedures and regulations. Leverage your expertise in tax software, particularly CCH ProSystem FX and CCH Axcess, to streamline and optimize tax processes. Provide strategic tax planning and consulting to clients. Manage relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service, and developing further business opportunities. Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly. Supervise and mentor junior staff members, fostering a supportive and productive work environment. Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or Master’s degree in Taxation is strongly preferred. A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in public accounting or a related field. Extensive experience with 1040 individual returns, as well as individual, business, non-profit, trust, and estate returns. Proficiency in GAAP and tax software, particularly CCH ProSystem FX and CCH Axcess. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and mentor a team. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to a non-technical audience.
