Job Title Director of Enrollment, Ohio State Mansfield and Newark Department: Strategic Enrollment | Strategic Enrollment Administration
Reporting to the Director of Regional Campus Recruitment Strategies & Initiatives, the Director of Enrollment for the Mansfield and Newark campuses works collaboratively with the Director of Enrollment for the Lima and Marion campuses. The role leads recruitment and new‑student enrollment functions on each campus; provides leadership and operational direction to staff members including admissions counselors and administrative support personnel. Responsibilities include hiring, training, coaching, performance reviews, professional development, team building, and fostering shared values. The Director develops territory management plans, directs recruitment of traditional and non‑traditional populations, implements change, and uses data from Tableau dashboards, Salesforce, and Capture to inform outreach. Direct staff to prioritize outreach, collaborate on events, support marketing, manage the admissions office budget, and ensure compliance with university policies. The Director serves on Student Success & Retention Committees, maintains campus presence, and represents the university at events. Evening and weekend hours are required. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. • Five years of progressively responsible experience in higher education student recruitment. • Managerial or supervisory experience with excellent writing, communication, and public‑speaking skills. • Ability to plan and implement programs, analyze data, and present reports. • Familiarity with recruitment technologies such as Salesforce and Tableau. • Ability to travel between Newark and Mansfield campuses.
Desired Qualifications • Master’s degree. • Familiarity with Peoplesoft, Salesforce, and OnBase.
Salary Range $64,900 – $84,850. Offer within range based on internal equity, unit budget, and candidate qualifications.
