What We're Looking For We are seeking an eager and excited Store Manager (Temporary) who embodies GNC's “Live Well” philosophy—living strong, living long, and living fit. What You'll Do

Oversee the daily operations of a store, including business performance, product management, and ensuring the team has the tools to succeed.

Support the store as a management team member and lead in a manner consistent with GNC values and policies.

Represent the GNC brand by offering expert product knowledge and promoting the “Live Well” message to customers.

Ensure products are merchandised according to GNC standards while keeping an eye on visibility and checkout ease.

Support the total shopping experience, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and the customer relationship that drives sales and repeat business.

Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals while helping sales associates realize their sales potential.

Build strong teams, demonstrate leadership, and managerial skills such as giving feedback to store associates on ongoing performance, recruiting, hiring, and performance management.

Open, close, and operate the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory count, and deposits according to GNC procedures.

Seek out and participate in community events that resonate with consumers, such as fairs, fitness events, conferences, expos, and other public gatherings, to promote the organization’s mission and initiatives.

At the end of 90 days, your performance will be assessed and evaluated to determine your eligibility for promotion to a Permanent Store Manager position. This assessment will include a variety of factors, including performance, availability of openings, and willingness to accept a promotion at any location in the designated market.

Environmental Factors & Working Schedule

Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.

Frequent reaching and bending and twisting—below waist and above shoulders.

Frequent use of repetitive hand‑to‑finger motions and reaching with hands and arms.

Frequent lifting up to twenty pounds, occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds. Push/pull up to 20 lbs.

Ability to climb ladders, reach and bend.

Work in temperatures ranging from 50–85°F—especially in our stock room areas.

Use of a computer up to 60 % of the time throughout the day.

Stores Managers are expected to work five (5) days, forty (40) hours a week, and adhere to the following schedule: managers of mall and strip center stores must work at least two nights during the week until closing, one weekend night, and one other night. Strip center managers must also work a full shift on Saturdays. Mall managers are expected to work peak business days including weekends (Saturday & Sunday). Managers are expected to work a minimum of one full Sunday per month. Managers of downtown stores must also work during the lunch hour of 11 am to 2 pm Monday through Friday and one night per week until closing if the store is open in the evening. Managers of downtown stores are not required to work Saturdays. Managers are expected to work all major U.S. holidays that the store is open.
