Wireline Serdes Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer

Job Description
The Analog Design and Circuit Technology team at MediaTek is searching for qualified candidates to join our fast-growing team. As a member of this dynamic team, you will get to work on state-of-the-art next generation wireline and optical transceivers for data centers serving cloud infrastructure as well as the growing field of AI and high-performance computing. We are looking for ambitious analog and mixed signal designers, and DSP/system designers who are willing to learn, grow and contribute to a diverse portfolio of products.
Responsibilities
Architecture study and evaluation of advanced high speed SerDes topologies.
Design and verification of high-speed high-performance analog and mixed signal circuits including drivers, front end circuits, samplers, comparators, ADCs, DACs, PLLs, clock distribution, etc.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve system performance and optimize designs.
Evaluate, measure, and debug silicon until it reaches high volume production.
Qualifications
MS or above in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field.
Solid background in high‑speed analog CMOS circuit design.
Good understanding of deep sub‑micron process.
Familiarity with serial links and wireline transceiver design and verification.
Proficiency with Cadence design environment and mixed‑signal simulation.
Able to assume responsibility for a variety of technical tasks and work independently.
Excellent working attitude and good interpersonal and communication skills.
Salary Range $145,000 / year ~ $220,000 / year
