Senior Automation & Controls Engineer

We’re looking to help design, support, and improve control systems for power generation and industrial equipment. This role is hands‑on, collaborative, and ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex automation challenges in real‑world environments.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain automation and control systems.
Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, embedded systems, and industrial controls.
Support Operations teams with system use, updates, and troubleshooting.
Work with engineering teams to implement new automation technologies.
Test new equipment and support project planning and execution.
Maintain documentation and provide technical support across departments.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience with real‑time control, automation, or embedded systems (C/C++/structured text).
5+ years hands‑on experience with industrial control hardware.
Strong knowledge of PLC programming, function blocks, and automation practices.
Excellent communication skills and a valid driver’s license.
Experience with protection relays, SEL hardware, RTAC, or genset controllers.
Familiarity with Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLCs, medium/high voltage gear, or power management systems.
Understanding of electrical protection schemes, arc flash studies, and NEC standards.
