Base pay range $27.00/hr - $30.00/hr
Our family-oriented dental practice in Carmel Valley (San Diego, CA) is searching for an enthusiastic and professional Registered Dental Assistant to join our growing team. As an RDA with us, you’ll enjoy a dynamic role that combines hands‑on patient care with opportunities to expand your expertise. Whether assisting chairside during crown preps, capturing crystal‑clear digital X‑rays, or contributing to front‑desk operations, your work will make a real impact.
For this position we prefer at least 2‑year experience with crown prep and the ability to take clean digital xrays. RDA License and CPR card are required.
Part‑time
Mondays and Tuesdays or
Full‑time
Monday - Friday
Part‑time hours: Monday & Tuesday - 7:20 am – 4:30 pm
Full‑time hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - 7:20 am – 4:30 pm; Wednesday - 7:40 am – 5:00 pm
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience with crown preparation and assisting in general dentistry
Proficiency in taking high‑quality digital X‑rays
Current RDA license and CPR certification (both required)
Positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset
Knowledge of Dentrix preferred
Knowledge of CEREC preferred
Duties Include
Assist the doctor in all 4‑handed dentistry procedures
Perform all RDA functions
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Set up instruments, equipment, and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Experience with iTero and Perio protect trays is a plus
