Base pay range $43,680.00/yr - $70,504.00/yr

Position Function Conduct due diligence and support ongoing monitoring of vendors as part of Central Pacific Bank’s Vendor Management Program (VMP). Duties differ by level: Corporate Risk Analyst I/II develops job knowledge under moderate supervision; Senior/Lead Risk Analyst provides guidance and leadership, leading to minimal supervision.

Primary Accountabilities

Ensure compliance with the VMP requirements.

Collaborate with Product Managers to communicate program requirements, providing training, tools, and guidance.

Complete Due Diligence Review Forms, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring of vendor services.

Follow up with Product Managers and SMEs for timely review completion.

Collect current audits (SOC, COI, etc.) from vendors.

Manage day‑to‑day responsibilities for Venminder, Dun & Bradstreet, and other VM systems.

Maintain user access and accurate information in Venminder.

File and link due diligence and other program documents for future access.

Add and maintain vendor records in Dun & Bradstreet for monitoring and reporting.

Participate in VM‑related meetings and trainings, applying learned information to enhance the program.

Input vendor information (new vendors, changes, ACH) into the bank’s accounts payable system per procedures.

Solve requirements for IT SOX vendors affecting financial reporting.

Conduct review of directors and officers for payments that may relate to related parties.

Keep abreast of regulatory changes and update the program to ensure compliance.

Identify and implement improvements and efficiencies in VM processes, policies, and procedures.

Serve as backup to the Manager and provide status updates and overview reports on the VMP.

Assist with audits and exams related to the VM program, offering supporting materials and remediation activities.

Train junior analysts, product managers, and SMEs on VM policy, policy manual requirements, and VM systems.

Lead meetings with stakeholders for vendor onboarding and additional vendor reviews.

Review vendor contracts through lifecycle, monitor agreements, and document third‑party alerts and mitigations.

Conduct quality assurance checks on all reviews to ensure compliance with VMP requirements.

Contribute to vendor risk assessments, confirming resources, qualifications, insurance coverage, and strategic alignment.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalency required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance).

Experience: 3+ years for Analyst I (vendor relations, contract or procurement preferred); 4+ years for Analyst II; 5+ years for Senior Risk Analyst.

Relevant Bachelor’s degree may substitute 2 or 3 years of experience at the corresponding level.

5+ years of reviewing and assessing financial statements, identifying and investigating financial risks.

Vendor Management Certification or equivalent is preferred.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

Perform light physical work, including lifting items up to 20 pounds.

Operate standard office equipment (phone, copier, PC, other electronic devices).

Communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external customers; hear adequately for daily interactions.

Read and understand bank‑related documents.

Work in a conventional office setting, involving long periods of sitting and adaptability to different environments as needed.
