Indo-Pacific Policy Analyst – Forge Group, LLC Location:

$110k – $150k per year

Assigned Title:

Senior Specialist

Support the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Policy with policy analysis, research, coordination, and presentation across the Indo‑Pacific region. Work closely with DoD government and contractor analysts to respond to requests, develop briefings, and influence policy decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate executive correspondence using tasking tracking tools.

Manage memorandums, talking points, portfolio resources, and package materials.

Understand DoD programmatic responsibilities for reporting, accountability, and executive support.

Respond to program information requests from executive leadership.

Conduct rapid research, analysis, and packaging of results for short‑fused requirements.

Prepare quality presentations on short notice, supporting graphics and design.

Analyze and identify trends, emerging issues, and future requirements as part of program planning.

Coordinate across a diverse set of DoD and interagency stakeholders.

Conduct research on strategic defense issue sets.

Support administrative functions such as reporting and file management.

Qualifications

US citizen.

Active Top Secret Security Clearance.

Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, National Security, Political Science, Business, or related field.

5+ years of experience in Indo‑Pacific regional security issues, defense security cooperation, or related policy areas.

Expertise in policy, program management, and legislative or financial guidelines driving U.S. government security cooperation.

Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Ability to build cross‑group working relationships and work autonomously in an entrepreneurial environment.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Top Secret clearance required.

Highly Desired Qualifications

Master’s degree in political science, intelligence, foreign or international relations, national security studies, resource management, finance, or related field.

Five years of experience in Indo‑Pacific defense policy, security cooperation program development, senior‑level program coordination, or analysis of defense industrial policies.

Experience developing policies that deliver cutting‑edge technology through security cooperation mechanisms.

Preparation and delivery of briefings to senior‑level (GO/FO/SES) leaders.
