Base Salary $175,000 – $220,000 + performance bonus eligibility

Overview Our client is a fast‑scaling FinTech Bank powering some of the most notable digital payments and credit products in the market today. Their infrastructure enables embedded finance, card issuing, lending capabilities, and digital asset connectivity across a broad enterprise and fintech customer base. They are expanding leadership within their lending organization — seeking a VP‑level operator with deep consumer credit expertise, strong model governance experience, and the proven ability to drive innovation while maintaining a strong risk and compliance framework. High‑visibility role with tangible influence on product strategy, portfolio growth, and next‑generation lending capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Build and execute lending strategies aligned with business growth objectives, market demand, and enterprise risk appetite.

Manage consumer credit portfolio performance including volume trends, loss behavior, profitability, and KPI reporting.

Lead development and enhancement of lending products through close collaboration with analytics, risk, and technology teams.

Guide credit model development, implementation, monitoring, and tuning across underwriting and decisioning frameworks.

Ensure adherence to model governance standards and regulatory expectations across risk models and lending processes.

Oversee underwriting policies, credit strategies, and usage of traditional + alternative data for decisioning.

Identify market opportunities and partnership opportunities across fintech platforms, embedded finance players, and new‑tech ecosystems.

Champion digital + automation initiatives to enhance speed, efficiency, and borrower experience.

Maintain alignment with regulatory compliance for lending, fair banking, consumer protection, and model risk expectations.

Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams during audits, regulatory inquiries, and internal control refinement.
