Position DevOps Engineer
Job Description
Architect and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability and security using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and ML model deployment (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Monitor system health with observability and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Datadog.
Ensure security and compliance through identity management, encryption, and policy frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
Support cloud migration and modernization strategies, including containerization, serverless adoption, and ML pipeline automation using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Kubeflow, or MLflow.
Deploy and optimize AI models in production environments (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP AI Platform).
Troubleshoot complex issues across software, hardware, and networking.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align business and development goals.
Experience
7‑10 years in DevOps engineering with strong cloud experience.
Hands‑on with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with progressive deployment tools (ArgoCD, FluxCD).
Exposure to microservices, multi‑region deployments, and modern PaaS.
Understanding of security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
Familiarity with container security solutions (Trivy, Cosign).
Proven troubleshooting skills for complex systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or strong equivalent in cloud architecture and operations.
Proficiency in IaC frameworks and automation scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Knowledge of container orchestration, networking fundamentals, and security.
Understanding of monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
Effective communication in cross‑functional teams.
Relevant certifications in cloud or DevOps (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with ML pipeline tools (Kubeflow, Airflow, MLflow) and model monitoring.
Hybrid role with onsite location in Downers Grove, IL.
Compensation And Benefits
Competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000.
Hybrid schedule: 3 days in‑office, 2 days remote.
