Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) seeks an innovative, adaptable and visionary leader as the next dean of the School of Liberal Arts (SLA). GGC is a 21st‑century public four‑year college accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs/Provost, the Dean will serve as chief administrator, leading strategic, academic, fiscal and administrative functions of the School. The dean will position the School for the future, building on its legacy of academic excellence and commitment to student success.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive leadership to drive the strategic, academic, intellectual, fiscal, and administrative functions of the School of Liberal Arts.

Strategically position the School for future growth and excellence, leveraging its wide range of majors and nexus degrees.

Support and mentor faculty, staff and students to achieve institutional goals.

Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement long‑term plans and policies.

Represent the School in university and external forums, fostering partnerships and visibility.
