SAP ISU Integration Analyst
Docotel Group is a leading technology solutions provider. The role is part of a major Public Utility’s multi‑year Customer Information System (CIS) Transformation Program, integrating SAP IS‑U with enterprise‑wide applications to modernize core operations and customer engagement.
We’re seeking a hands‑on SAP IS‑U Integration Analyst with deep functional and technical understanding of SAP Utilities (IS‑U) modules and cross‑application interfaces. The analyst will collaborate with global systems integrators and client‑side SMEs. Consultant should expect to travel 25% to Columbus, OH or Merrillville, IN.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support integration design between SAP IS‑U and related systems (Billing, CRM, FICA, Work Management, Device Management, and Meter Data Management).
Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications for integrations, APIs, and middleware platforms (SAP PI/PO, CPI, Integration Suite).
Support testing, defect resolution, and validation activities during SIT/UAT and cutover.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure integration alignment with architectural and data governance standards.
Participate in interface mapping, data validation, and troubleshooting between SAP and non‑SAP systems.
Contribute to documentation of integration flows, configuration guides, and interface control documents (ICDs).
Work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders, business process owners, architects, and testing teams to ensure smooth delivery and post‑go‑live stabilization.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in SAP IS‑U with a strong focus on integrations, billing, FICA, and device management.
Proven experience with SAP PI/PO, CPI, or SAP Cloud Integration Suite.
Solid understanding of utility industry processes for electric, gas, or water.
Experience with interface mapping, IDocs, RFCs, web services, and REST/OData APIs.
Familiarity with S/4HANA Utilities and RISE with SAP environments is a strong plus.
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
