Hardware Engineer I - Radar Team at Honeywell

As part of the Communications, Navigation and Surveillance (CN&S) group, you will help develop next‑generation aircraft weather radar technologies from prototype to market, focusing on quality, yield, aftermarket support, and factory support.
Responsibilities
Use your knowledge of hardware engineering disciplines, processes, and tools to advance Honeywell's radar technologies.
Plan and execute project subtasks (designing, testing, etc.).
Draft and release drawing changes in Team Center.
Troubleshoot and diagnose product performance issues.
Identify opportunities and propose technical improvements.
Assist in product and process certification for customer acceptance.
Support the obsolescence team in identifying and qualifying alternate parts.
Guide engineers, technicians, and associates to ensure project and product compliance.
Suggest enhancements to advance projects and products.
Establish and follow methodologies that push forward new concepts or refine existing concepts.
Consult with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
Combination of academic, project, internship, co‑op, and/or professional experience in Hardware Engineering.
Preferred: Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Understanding of various hardware engineering principles, methodologies, and specifications.
Capability to complete demanding assignments using advanced engineering methods and tools.
Ability to influence cross‑functional teams to deliver optimal solutions.
Ability to make timely decisions and balance program demands.
Capability to follow guidelines and ensure efficiency on given project tasks.
