Clinician Level & Compensation Clinician I – $74/hour Schedule: Full‑time, 40 hours per week

The salary provided is pay for Clinician I upon completion of our robust 4–6‑month training and a positive 6‑month review. Clinician I employees are promoted to Clinician II.

What You’ll Do Clinical Care

Review and interpret the medical and social history of reproductive health patients.

Perform appropriate medical screening procedures and exams for male and female patients.

Interpret laboratory data, order additional investigations when indicated, and ensure appropriate follow‑up.

Provide a full range of contraceptive methods, including self‑administered options and injections.

Manage basic STI and genitourinary conditions, provide medication abortion, and prescribe emergency contraception.

Diagnose and treat uncomplicated STIs and genitourinary conditions; perform wart treatment and basic dermatological procedures.

Provide gender‑affirming hormone therapy and related care; offer premenopausal and menopausal health services.

Act as a medical consultant to clinic staff; manage emergency situations in the health center.

Participate in staff meetings, provide training in current medical procedures relevant to reproductive health, and contribute to achieving clinic productivity goals.

Demonstrate PPMM customer service standards and assist in other areas of center support work as required.

Patient‑Centered Exams & Management

Conduct and interpret medical histories for sexual and reproductive health visits.

Perform pelvic and breast exams, Pap smears, and other screening procedures.

Order and interpret laboratory tests, ensuring timely follow‑up.

Manage urgent health situations that arise during clinic operations.

Team Engagement

Act as a clinical resource for medical assistants and support staff.

Attend staff meetings and contribute to clinic productivity and quality benchmarks.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality care.

What We’re Looking For

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Women’s Health NP, or Certified Nurse Midwife program.

Current, unrestricted license to practice in the state of California.

Board certification.

CPR/BLS certification (current or within 30 days of hire).

Strong customer‑service mindset and ability to thrive in a team‑based environment.

Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows‑based systems).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in reproductive health, OB/GYN, gender‑affirming care, or family planning.

Commitment to providing care that is respectful, inclusive, and affirming to all patients.
