Responsibilities
Prepare US GAAP Financial Statements – Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and P&L (Cash Flow) Statements.
Assist with Month‑End Close duties pertaining to Financial Reporting.
Assist with Technical Accounting – e.g., ASC606 or ASC842 or IFRS related Memos, researching impacts on team/organization.
Implement changes to the organization, interacting cross‑functionally.
Handle company acquisitions or unusual transactions – Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting related.
Special Ad‑Hoc requests from Leadership.
Note – this isn’t a typical day‑to‑day GL‑focused role; no journal‑entry prep or review, perhaps some reconciliation review.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required).
5+ years of experience (Audit or SEC Reporting/Technical Accounting).
Technical expertise – ASC606, ASC842, IFRS; accounting standard updates & research; memo writing.
CPA / MBA / IFRS (preferred).
Background in Public Accounting (e.g., Big 4) or top CPA firm, or a combination of public/private industry experience.
