Data Product Owner Contract – Hybrid, Denver, CO

As a Data Product Owner, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping next‑generation data products—balancing strategy and execution while guiding Agile teams toward impactful, high‑quality outcomes. What You’ll Be Doing

Converting business needs into clear, actionable user stories with an emphasis on data‑driven insight.

Partnering with data engineering, analytics, and architecture teams to integrate pipelines, governance, and reporting into cohesive product designs.

Prioritizing and managing the product backlog using performance metrics, customer insights, and technical considerations.

Facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring alignment across cross‑functional delivery teams—including data, cloud, and infrastructure partners.

Mitigating risks related to data quality, cloud scalability, and system integration while supporting continuous product improvement.

Our Ideal Candidate Has

Proven experience as a Product Owner within enterprise environments; background in financial services or cloud transformation is highly preferred.

Strong working knowledge of SAFe Agile practices and scaled Agile delivery.

Familiarity with modern data platforms, data modeling concepts, and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight.

Hands‑on understanding of cloud‑native product development, migration work, and technologies such as AWS or Azure.

Ability to translate technical, data‑heavy inputs into clear requirements for technical and business stakeholders.

Proficiency with SQL, Python, or R, plus experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Comfortable working closely with data sets and guiding decisions through user insights and metrics.
