Position Overview The Global Retail DTC Process Senior Manager will act as the functional product owner for the SAP Retail DTC space representing Retail Stores. The role involves working across Finance, Logistics, Wholesale, IT, and other partners to define and deliver SAP functionality and related Edge system integrations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with business partners to define requirements and make design decisions, prioritising out‑of‑the‑box functionality and a common global design for Retail DTC Stores processes.
Coordinate with regional teams to close gaps, identify process opportunities, and create a globally aligned way of working, allowing for local deviations on legal, regulatory, tax, language and currency as needed.
Ensure team understanding of agreed functionality, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with change management leads, plan deployments, and manage communications or training.
Collaborate across North America, EMEA and APAC to develop common processes, supporting the Global Retail DTC SME and coordinating testing to mitigate deployment risks.
Serve as the key contact for SAP functionality support across the region, assisting Retail DTC, Wholesale OTC, Finance and other systems/partners with SAP‑integrated or cross‑functional processes.
Work closely with IT and other partners to define Edge system requirements (e.g., Salesforce, in‑store POS, concession and Marketplace integrations, Impact Analytics / JDA Enterprise planning, and other partner systems).
Assess platform‑to‑platform integration impacts for inbound order flows, pricing, concessions, promotions, markdowns, store audits, Omni‑order functionality, inter‑store transfers, returns, inventory management, back‑office functions, etc.
Identify and report operational reporting needs, collaborating with the project team and reporting leads.
Assist with the development of training materials and ensure adequate onboarding of new processes and systems.
Provide input into deployment plans for launching systems with third‑party partners within the RL DTC area, including impact assessment for Ralph Lauren Stores, Polo Retail Outlets and concession customers.
Collaborate with retail and logistics teams to define order management/ process flows necessary across B2B, third‑party, retail, Ecommerce and inter‑country/region contexts.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Minimum of 7+ years’ experience with a proven track record in similar roles.
Strong understanding of DTC Retail operation processes across channels within an international fashion apparel business.
Knowledge of dependencies in an omnichannel environment, including shared inventories and partner collaboration.
Experience in a vertically integrated retail environment; fashion apparel experience highly desirable.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills; adept at translating complex concepts into actionable plans.
Ability to confidently engage with and influence senior executives.
Strong analytical skills, leveraging data for strategic decisions.
Pragmatic problem‑solver with the ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Strategic vision combined with a hands‑on approach to achieve results.
