Your Impact Axon is looking for a highly analytical, data‑driven strategist to join our Sales Strategy & Enablement team and accelerate growth across our US Public Sector business. In this role, you’ll shape how Axon drives double‑digit year‑over‑year growth across the US Public Sector — delivering insights, strategic recommendations, and operational rigor to Regional VPs and Directors.
What You’ll Do Location:
This role is based out of our Scottsdale, AZ Headquarters and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in‑person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. Reports to: Senior Director, Strategy & Enablement
Develop Strategic Insights and Enable Growth: Serve as the primary insights partner to US Public Sector market leaders—delivering data‑backed recommendations on pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, territory performance, and growth levers. Identify patterns, risks, and opportunities that directly influence double‑digit YoY bookings growth.
Shape Sales Strategy and Guide Market Expansion: Refine go‑to‑market strategies across regions, customer types, and product categories. Analyze competitive dynamics, customer trends, agency procurement behavior, and market shifts to guide strategic choices.
Enhance Performance Analytics and Improve Forecasting: Build models to analyze bookings, pipeline, rep productivity, and coverage efficiency. Partner with Sales leadership to improve forecast predictability and unify performance reporting across Public Sector.
Size Opportunities and Launch High‑Impact Growth Plays: Quantify whitespace, evaluate new market entry opportunities, and support rollout of new product and bundling strategies tailored for Public Safety agencies. Translate insights into actionable recommendations, pilot proposals, and execution plans.
Drive Pricing Strategy and Strengthen Deal Execution: Analyze pricing, discounting trends, and win/loss drivers across Public Sector deals. Support development of value‑based pricing narratives aligned to agency needs and procurement dynamics.
Mentor Team Members and Elevate Analytical Rigor: Support and coach junior team members to strengthen team capabilities and analytical excellence. Champion a culture of curiosity, precision, and continuous improvement.
What You Bring
6-9+ years of experience in sales strategy, business operations, or management consulting, ideally in high‑growth or SaaS markets.
Proven experience supporting revenue teams with insights that drive measurable growth.
Strong command of data analytics, including expertise with Excel/Sheets, BI tools (Sigma), SQL, and CRM platforms (Salesforce).
Ability to translate data into strategy—synthesizing complex information into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Comfort with ambiguity, experimentation, and independently leading high‑impact projects.
Strategic thinker with a bias for action, strong ownership, and exceptional attention to detail.
Clear and compelling communicator, confident presenting to Sales leaders and executives.
Deep curiosity about the Public Sector ecosystem, procurement models, and agency needs (experience in Public Sector is a plus).

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Pay and Benefits The starting base pay for this role is between USD $106,800 in the lowest geographic market and USD $156,640 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
