Responsibilities Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of two condensing water package boilers, chillers and pneumatic systems. Perform facility maintenance duties including repairs, enhancements, and upkeep of buildings and grounds. Assist with documentation and inspections, maintaining regulatory requirements. Support special projects such as room setups, moving office furniture, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

DC 3rd Class Engineer License or above

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in related fields

Preferred experience with building automation systems, emergency diesel generators, emergency power systems, and DC DOEE documentation

Hospital environment experience preferred

Skills

Strong problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail

Solid understanding of engineering principles

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with hospital staff

Knowledge of medical equipment

Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and project‑management skills
