Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Business Partner is responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies for our non‑exempt and exempt positions at Maker’s Pride. They report to the Director of Talent Acquisition and partner closely with leadership and Human Resources Business Partners.
Responsibilities
Serve as a talent consultant to hiring managers on recruitment strategies, interview best practices, job descriptions, and candidate situations
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and hire strong talent who align with the organization’s business needs
Build strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience from initial contact to first day
Ensure all recruitment and onboarding activities are compliant with company policies and relevant labor laws
Track and share key data around candidate activity to show trends and help drive business decisions around hiring
Develop and maintain a database of potential candidates using established talent attraction and engagement processes and tools
Provide a strong assessment of talent by building a strong relationship with business leaders and human resources to gain insight into the needs of the business
May need to prepare necessary documentation to onboard a candidate (offer letter, relocation, background consent, section 1 of the I‑9, etc.)
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience as a recruiter, ideally working on manufacturing and/or corporate exempt roles
Proven success with sourcing passive talent and placing them into opportunities
Working understanding and/or knowledge of Federal, State and local laws and how they apply to the organization
Working understanding and/or knowledge of Recruiting
Maintaining discretion and confidentiality
Follow-through independently on tasks
Able to prioritize assignments
Make timely decisions
Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments
Being resilient – rebound from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and MS Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Data collection and analysis
Work without supervision when required
Capable of functioning under stressful situations
Potential for 5‑10% travel to events or plant facilities

The pay range for this full‑time, salaried position is $58,962 - $88,444 per year. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
