Join Barclays as an Equity Research Fintech, AVP, where you’ll have the chance to collaborate with senior analysts to produce comprehensive research reports and presentations while monitoring market trends, economic indicators, and company news to update and refine investment solutions. You will also engage with institutional clients to communicate the research findings and provide strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
Conduct detailed analysis and valuation of companies.
Perform financial modelling and interpret highly detailed financial statements.
Maintain deep understanding of the specific industry or sector being covered.
Effectively communicate research investment recommendations to clients.
Lead projects and mentor junior analysts.
Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients.
Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well‑developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function.
Engage with markets, client strategy and other stakeholders, raising awareness of research to clients and internally.
Provide insights and research views to internal clients to help them navigate financial markets and risks.
Collaborate with compliance and other stakeholders to ensure research is delivered in a compliant manner.
Qualifications
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients.
Ability to effectively convey research investment recommendations to clients.
FINRA licensing: SIE, S63, S86, S87.
CFA Level (certificate not explicitly noted).
Additional Highly Valued Skills
Familiarity with financial software and databases such as Bloomberg, and advanced Excel.
Experience in building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients.
Ability to lead projects and mentor junior analysts.
FINRA licensing: SIE, S63, S86, S87.
CFA Level.

Produce individual company or sector notes, and long‑dated thematic reports.

Engage with markets, client strategy and other stakeholders, raising awareness of research both to clients and internally.
Provide insights and research views to internal clients to help them navigate financial markets and risks.
Collaborate with supervisory analyst, compliance and other stakeholders to ensure research is produced and delivered in a compliant manner.
