Base Pay Range $60,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager across all aspects of the business, including financial performance (maximizing sales and achieving targets), hiring, training, and managing staff performance, developing and servicing customers, presenting merchandise, managing inventory, building the brand, and handling public relations and events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Sales Team and Management Support the Store Manager in all daily aspects of the business, including coaching and developing the sales team on customer service, sales strategies, operations, clienteling, and reporting.

Collaborate effectively as a team player, fostering open communication to contribute to a positive work environment.

Build and maintain a loyal client base by providing individualized and elevated service.

Capture meaningful customer data to connect with clients, build relationships, and personalize future client development opportunities.

Assist the Store Manager in tracking the outreach efforts and results of the team.

Maintain an active, accurate, neat, and organized client book, proactively contacting clients regularly and providing appropriate follow-up on all sales or client requests.

Monitor the weekly schedule for client outreach to ensure consistency.

Achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual personal sales and KPI targets while supporting team goals.

In collaboration with the Store Manager and the Visual Merchandising Director, oversee in-store visual merchandising, including special installations and window refreshes.

Ensure all merchandise is displayed correctly according to visual guidelines.

Assist the Store Manager with visual merchandising reports and store replenishment requests.

Support all store events and send detailed recaps to the Regional Manager.

Provide accurate and comprehensive product knowledge training for the sales team on new collections, capsules, collaborations, and events.

Customer Service Lead by example by delivering the highest level of customer service.

Communicate the brand's aesthetic and showcase thorough, up-to-date knowledge of the product and brand.

Discuss general trends in the fashion world with clients and provide informed advice.

Resolve all client issues and complaints promptly and effectively.

Operations Handle all aspects of sales transactions, including POS operations, cash duties, and register functions.

Assist the Store Manager with preparing weekly and monthly reports.

Maintain the store's appearance, ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and efficiency to present the best image.

Manage inventory, communicate stock take and replenishment needs, and assist in guiding seasonal purchases.

Keep the stockroom neat and well-organized, properly receiving merchandise and managing damages.

Adhere to and enforce loss prevention, security, and credit policies and procedures.

Strictly follow the work schedule, including time and attendance.

Participate in relevant company training programs.

Comply with company policies, practices, and procedures.

Other job duties as assigned.

Strong styling expertise with an eye for luxury fashion and trends.

Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

Proficiency in POS systems and retail technology.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must be able to bend, squat, reach, and climb as needed for stocking.

Push and pull racks or merchandise as needed.

Capable of lifting to 50 lbs.

Ability to work around strong smells and fragrance, perfume is a product sold.

Uninterrupted standing for extended periods of time.

Excellent listening and communication skills.

Exposure to bright lights

Try on different clothing in order to learn the fits and styles to be able to instruct the clients

Other Requirements

Availability:

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed during opening hours.
