We are seeking a
Senior Data Analyst
to join our Marketing Technology & Analytics team. Every day you will make a difference in the lives of others by being responsible for transforming complex behavioral and marketing data into actionable insights. You will focus on analyzing user behavior across digital properties, building durable data models, and developing dashboards and data pipelines that empower teams across EdPlus to make data-informed decisions.
Essential Duties
Build and maintain data models using Data Build Tool (dbt) to transform raw event-level data into business-ready datasets.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to extract valuable data from our analytics platforms, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making within the organization.
Design customized reports, dashboards, and data visualization solutions to effectively communicate insights and findings to stakeholders.
Partner with internal teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop measurement strategies to track marketing and business goals.
Collaborate with marketing teams to model and prepare datasets for downstream activation via our Custom Data Platform (CDP), ensuring high-quality audience and attribute data pipelines.
Maintain documentation of data models, lineage, and logic. Contribute to team-wide standards for measurement and data governance.
Assume additional duties or projects as assigned.
NOTE: This is not a fully remote position. You must be able to reliably commute to Scottsdale, AZ.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
Experience analyzing digital analytics and behavioral datasets.
Demonstrated advanced SQL knowledge and strong understanding of data modeling, transformation, and orchestration best practices.
Hands‑on experience with dbt (building models, macros, tests, and documentation).
Demonstrated familiarity with Airflow, Prefect, or similar orchestration tools for managing data pipelines.
Experience working in a cloud data warehouse environment (BigQuery or Redshift preferred).
Demonstrated competence with Python for data validation, API integrations, or ETL tasks.
Demonstrated understanding of event‑based tracking structures, user identity resolution, and behavioral datasets.
Demonstrated comfort analyzing behavioral patterns, conversion funnels, and user journeys to generate actionable insights.
Evidence of strong collaboration and documentation skills; able to translate data requirements between technical and non‑technical teams.
