Overview Saint Peter’s Healthcare System is seeking a Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician to join our team at The Children’s Hospital, a regional tertiary center in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This role will work alongside specialists such as child psychologists, audiologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, social workers, and pediatricians.
Responsibilities
Manage patients ranging from birth through 18 years with a broad spectrum of syndromes, select mutations, learning disabilities, and conditions.
Conduct approximately 3 new patient encounters and 5 follow‑up encounters daily.
Participate in a rich teaching environment, including academic involvement with pediatric residents and students from Rutgers and the University of New Jersey.
Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive developmental and behavioral assessment, intervention, and coordination of care.
Requirements
Fellowship trained in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
MD or DO licensed in New Jersey or eligible for licensure.
Spanish speaking is a plus.
Compensation Full‑time compensation ranges from $175,000 to $750,000, influenced by specialty, years of experience, academic and administrative appointment, and performance metrics.
