Seeking Experienced Licensed Supervising Psychologist Position Description Kimel Psychological Services (KPS) is growing! Our specialized practice provides a range of services for children, teens, and young adults with developmental disabilities, learning differences, ADHD, giftedness, twice‑exceptional, and mood disorders. We are seeking a full‑time Colorado Licensed Doctoral‑Level Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) to join our team as a supervising psychologist for our graduate student and post‑doctoral trainees. This role focuses on providing high‑quality psychological services, overseeing trainees, and supporting other clinicians while avoiding the administrative burdens of practice management (billing, insurance verification, and claims are handled by the practice).

The ideal candidate is experienced in working with neurodiverse clients, particularly autistic individuals, is passionate about evidence‑based interventions, and is eager to mentor and supervise clinicians and trainees within a collaborative group practice. About Us KPS is a small, minority‑ and woman‑owned practice committed to patient‑centered care and recognized for excellence in developmental disabilities and learning disorders. We provide empirically supported and culturally sensitive psychological evaluation and therapy services for clients ages 1 through adulthood. Our evaluations include cognitive/intellectual abilities, academic achievement, attention disorders, emotional functioning, fetal substance exposure, head injury, and developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We are dedicated to serving clients from diverse backgrounds and supporting families, schools, and community settings in understanding each child’s strengths and growth areas.

About the Role Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults based on clinical expertise and interest.

Supervise graduate‑level trainees (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) and other clinicians, providing clinical guidance, mentorship, and oversight, in both individual and small group supervision.

Collaborate with clients’ care teams, including school personnel and other professionals.

Supervision group co‑leaders for specialty groups such as social skills, Sibshops, DBT, and anxiety treatment groups.

Help lead monthly therapy didactics trainings for our clinic.

Participate in weekly clinical consultation and professional development with colleagues.

Promote awareness and understanding of developmental disabilities through trainings, community outreach, and advocacy.

Administrative support including scheduling, billing, payment processing, insurance credentialing, advertising, and referrals, so that you can focus on clinical care.

Required Qualifications

Current Colorado license to practice as a psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.).

Experience supervising trainees and/or other clinicians preferred.

Expertise in providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities, ADHD, learning differences, giftedness, and co‑occurring mood/anxiety disorders.

Commitment to culturally competent care and serving diverse populations.

Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and ethical practice.

Ability to practice independently and provide high‑level supervision.

Special consideration will be given to bilingual, Spanish‑speaking psychologists.

Compensation Highly competitive monthly pay based on experience, caseload, and supervisory responsibilities.
