Employment Type Full-time
Work Schedule Office 3 days a week (Tuesday to Thursday). Remote otherwise.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and operate high-scale applications across the full engineering stack.
Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software using modern practices such as serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
Integrate systems across teams with internal systems, Data Fabric, and CSA Toolset.
Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions to translate business requirements into solutions.
Collaborate on a globally distributed engineering team and participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other team activities.
Triage product or system issues, debug, and resolve performance impacts on network or service operations.
Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Research, create, and develop software applications to enhance Equifax solutions.
Address scalability issues involving data access and information management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years software engineering experience.
Experienced writing, debugging, and troubleshooting code in Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
5+ years experience in Cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
Designed and developed cloud-native microservices using Java, Spring Boot, GCP SDKs, GKE/Kubernetes.
Deployed and released software using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines; knowledge of infrastructure-as-code concepts, Helm Charts, Terraform.
Additional Qualifications
Self-starter with minimal supervision.
Experience with big data processing (Dataflow/Apache Beam, Bigtable, BigQuery, PubSub, GCS, Composer/Airflow).
UI development skills (HTML, JavaScript, Angular, SignalR).
Backend background: Java/J2EE, SpringBoot, SOA, Microservices.
Source control (SVN/Git, GitHub), build tools (Maven, Gradle).
Agile environments (Scrum, XP).
Relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL).
Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
Modern JDK (v1.7+).
Automated testing (JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, SoapUI).
