Akkodis is seeking a

QA Automation Engineer

for a

Contract

role with a client in

Hartford, CT . You will design and execute automated test strategies for Five9 and Salesforce platforms, ensuring robust API and data integration validation. Rate range:

$45/hour to $56/hour ; it may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. QA Automation Engineer responsibilities

Plan, design, and execute test strategies and cases for Five9 (IVR/ACD configurations, call flows, CTI) and Salesforce (Sales/Service Cloud, Lightning components, integrations). Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, JavaScript, and related frameworks (TestNG/JUnit, Cypress, Playwright). Perform API and data validation testing for REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and end-to-end data pipelines, ensuring accuracy and performance. Manage test plans, traceability, and defect lifecycle using tools like Rational Tool Suite, JIRA, RQM, and RTC. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, and ensure comprehensive testing in Agile environments. Prepare clear test documentation including test plans, cases, traceability matrices, and release sign-off reports. Required Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5+ years in QA testing with strong automation experience. Hands-on experience testing Five9 and Salesforce platforms, including configurations and integrations. Strong automation skills using Selenium, Java, and JavaScript, with experience in API testing and data validation. Pay Details & Benefits

Pay:
