Loan/Private Credit Operations Specialist (On‑site NYC, 5 days a week – US Citizen/Green Card Only)
Traxion Group, Inc. is hiring a
Loan/Private Credit Operations Specialist
based in New York City. Role is on site, 5 days a week, and requires U.S. citizenship or a Green Card.
Base Pay Range $150,000–$175,000 per year
Principal Responsibilities
Ensure all aspects of bank debt/leveraged loan operations and finance are completed on time.
Process transactions, resolve exceptions proactively, and perform end‑to‑end servicing of bank loan assets.
Capture trade instructions, manage settlements and fail management, record cash instructions, reconcile and perform asset servicing, and manage lifecycle events of bank loans.
Oversee bank loan life cycle events including Paydown/Drawdown, Interest rate resets, PIK interest calculations, delayed comp accruals, and trade settlements.
Interpret credit agreements and related documentation.
Work across teams to resolve queries and issues.
Create new procedures, workflows, and build controls.
Assist in testing and implementation of systems and system improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree required – preferred in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
7+ years of direct experience in loan operations, including exposure to distressed loans; detailed knowledge of bank debt asset class, primary and secondary market trading.
Exposure to loan closing preferred.
Knowledge of LSTA/LMA standard documents and exposure to EUR loans.
Experience with SS&C Geneva, Murex, Wall Street Office, and ClearPar preferred.
Bloomberg proficiency required; knowledge of TRS products is a plus.
Strong understanding of accounting principles related to bank debt transactions.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Compensation (Base + bonus): $180,000–$225,000 per year.
