General Manager (GM) Supervisor:

Area Coach (AC), Director of Operations (DO)

Basic Purpose The General Manager serves as a mentor and leads their team to success, ensuring optimal performance and a smooth operation and exceptional customer experience. They strive for maximum profitability, with selective recruitment, consistent training, and quality food delivery, while fostering a culture aligned with DRG’s values.

Major Responsibilities

Team Development: Identify, train, and mentor high‑potential individuals, empowering them to become leaders and excel in their roles.

Operational Excellence: Create world‑class operations that include exceptional customer service, pristine restaurants serving excellent food, and strong financial results.

P&L Management: Maintain consistently strong financial results by taking actions that keep costs low and profitability high.

Leadership: Make sound, effective decisions and serve as a liaison between upper management and the team, adhering to an open‑door policy.

Training & Development: Conduct ongoing workshops, provide real‑time feedback, and emphasize continuous learning and growth.

Culture & Values: Reinforce DRG’s culture by recognizing individuals and teams, promoting inclusivity, and fostering a fun, respectful environment.

Compliance: Enforce adherence to company policies, procedures, and local regulations.

Key Relationships

Internal – Work closely with your team, Area Coach, Director of Operations, fellow GMs, and other stakeholders.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.

High School Diploma (or equivalent).

At least 2 years of restaurant experience with proven leadership ability.

Must be able to read, speak, and write in English.

Pass the SERV Safe Certification Course and Exam; maintain a current health card.

Average 45‑hour work week with flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays).

Reliable transportation, clear criminal background check, acceptable MVR.
