Vice President, Sourcing and Procurement
Join BNY as a Vice President in our Enterprise Sourcing Office team located in Lake Mary, FL. In this role, you will lead strategic supplier negotiations, manage contract administration, and drive commercial value through innovative sourcing practices.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business and supplier partners to develop plans for Technology/Fin‑Tech category management.
Lead negotiations for non‑complex and complex contracts, delivering consistent savings.
Manage contract administration for standard contracts including NDAs, SOWs, and termination notifications.
Represent Senior Negotiators in high‑impact meetings as needed.
Prepare and conduct complex supply market analyses, develop RFP and RFI templates, perform pricing assessments and total‑cost modeling.
Utilize AI‑powered analytics to identify and unlock commercial value beyond traditional cost savings, focusing on innovation.
Review and analyze contract requirements, conduct research, identify contracting issues and recommend solutions.
Review and advise on findings compiled by junior sourcing roles to ensure accuracy and quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
7–10 years of experience in sourcing negotiations, preferably within the financial services industry.
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex information and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to create strategic, data‑driven PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership.
Highly analytical and detail‑oriented, with a collaborative, creative, and flexible approach to problem‑solving.
Ability to lead and influence cross‑functional initiatives, work independently, and manage multiple work streams.
Understanding of new and evolving technologies to support forward‑thinking sourcing strategies.
Experience with procurement and contract authoring software applications such as Ivalua and Sirion.
